CASSIDY POINT LOGO + BRAND DESIGN

Client: Cassidy Point
Role: Freelance Designer
Project: Logo/Brand Design
Date: August 2019

Cassidy Point is a shared studio space in Portland, Maine that supports a wide range of local makers, from ceramicists to photographers. I designed a logo that reflects the physical space itself—mirroring the angled roofline with a simple geometric frame. Inside, a bold logotype gives the mark weight and flexibility across signage, merch, and web.

Beyond the logo, the angled shape becomes a framing device used throughout brand materials. It serves as a visual nod to the creativity housed inside, offering a way to crop, showcase, or highlight the diverse work being made at Cassidy Point without overshadowing it.

a container for makers

The Cassidy Point logo is built from the shape of the building itself. The shape is used as a cropping device that not only references architecture—it becomes a container to spotlight the creativity happening inside.
